I like to imagine this as a sequel to Flatline with the Tardis reduced to two dimensions (but still bigger on the inside…)

Or possibly a fiendish puzzle, like the jigsaw of Jamie’s face, in a rematch with The Mind Robber.

Either way, the Doctor is having difficulty following the instructions for assembly…
