Promotional artwork for Dublin 2019. I’m a big believer that representation matters and I try to feature both women and men in my artwork but I hadn’t been doing so well at racial diversity and so I wanted to include someone of colour in our promotional materials.

The Earth is oriented so that Dublin is in this astronaut’s sights. The rainbow nebula was slightly inspired by the classic poster for Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
