Dublin 2019 – When Worlds Collide

Acrylic painting on 250 gsm art paper.

I wanted to combine the ancient and the modern, with the ancient tomb and phases of the moon contrasting with the decay spirals of subatomic particles in the sky. The image was used heavily in adverts for Dublin 2019.
