I’m honoured to have won the BSFA 2020 Best Artwork award for “Shipbuilding Over The Clyde”, a piece of my Glasgow in 2024 WorldCon bid artwork. You can find a video of me talking about the painting on the Glasgow 2024 YouTube channel.
I’m also proud to be a nominee for Best Fan Artist in the 2021 Hugo Awards! I was previously a finalist for Best Fan Artist 2020 — which I blogged about here — and a nominee for the European Science Fiction Society 2020 Hall Of Fame Award.
I’ve created a lot of promotional artwork for the Dublin 2019 WorldCon in August 2019 in Dublin, Ireland, and am currently working on the bid to host the 2024 WorldCon in Glasgow, Scotland. I also exhibited in the Dublin 2019 art show. You can find some examples below.
“Worldcon”, “Hugo Award”, and the Hugo Award Logo are registered service marks of Worldcon Intellectual Property, a California non-profit public benefit corporation. “World Science Fiction Society”, “WSFS”, “World Science Fiction Convention”, “NASFiC”, “Lodestar Award”, and the distinctive design of the Hugo Award Trophy Rocket are service marks of the World Science Fiction Society, an unincorporated literary society.
